Measure 3-164

The PAC (Political Action Committee) known by the name of

"PROTECT OUR OAK LODGE ASSETS"

was formed to support a slate of 3 candidates running for the

3 open positions on the Oak Lodge Sanitary District Board of Directors

in the May 17th, 2005 election.

The Voters Pamphlet Statements submitted by all 6 candidates running for the 3

open seats are listed here on the website to the right.

Ballot Measure 3-164, placed before the voters of the Oak Lodge Sanitary District

in March 2005, called for the consolidation of wastewater treatment in the 3

Sanitary districts in North Clackamas County into a single, expanded wastewater

treatment facility in Oregon City.

There were many items, not addressed by the measure, that are of significant

importance to the Oak Lodge Citizens thus the 80% No to 20% Yes vote sent a

loud, clear message to the bureaucracy to go back to the drawing board on this

issue.

Even though the ballot measure was defeated, the Oak Lodge Citizens, through

their Sanitary District Board of Directors, need to continue to be vigilant for the

next scheme that government will come forth with.

We support Paul Savas, Dave Seigneur and Doug Woods for the 3 open seats

on the Oak Lodge Sanitary District Board of Directors.

We believe they are the best choices because they each will closely examine all

future proposals, question motives behind the proposals, require sound supporting

facts and listen closely to the Citizens they represent before determining if the

proposals are truly in the best long-term interest of the Oak Lodge ratepayers.

Please read their Voters Pamphlet statements then join us in this effort.

We are pleased to announce that our 3
